Oh my gosh that cat. He ate some aloe the other day, which turns out isn't all that good for cats.. at it again with the snake plant..
Warranted two posts for one day! All the tile is up. Needs grouting.
Stopped on my way home to find GC6C1C, one of the first (the first?) brass cap in the province. Apparantly the province is dotted with these, as a survey marker. The program was stopped after the advent of GPS, but there's still a lot of them out there.
More caps can be found at http://members.shaw.ca/pdops/Cache/index.htm
Auntie Megan has a baby, so they're cousins all over again
New baby in the family .. so Holly's been busily working on a new blanket.
Also: New couch this week.
Riley has expressed interest in wanting to make recipes. We've been trying to give him opportunities to learn how to cook, before he can write recipes. One of his early, all solo, attempts.. chocolate chip cookies. Mmmmm.
Sorry for the potato quality. Phone's "digital" zoom....
Somewhere, within the mass of kids, is Riley playing an instrument at his school concert. He wasn't keen on going, but since he committed to playing an instrument, he sorta had to go. In the end, he did well!
Aunt Joan stopped in on the way down east. Happy birthday!
The boys don't really have a lot of places to put their things in their rooms. The rooms aren't that big, so a bookshelf on the floor isn't really viable. So, finally, we get some shelves up for Lukah. Needs paint, but it's getting there.
